Nissan announced today the Pathfinder Hybrid's price list for the U.S. market, where the new version of the SUV goes on sale now. The Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid is going to be available in three trim levels (SV, SL and Platinum) and with a choice between a 2WD system and a four-wheel-drive system. Nissan powers the hybrid Pathfinder with a 2.5-liter supercharged petrol engine and a kW electric motor. The total output of the hybrid Pathfinder is rated at 250 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. Nissan equips the Pathfinder Hybrid with a Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery, which is located under the third row of seats. The Pathfinder Hybrid comes with an Intelligent Dual Clutch System (one motor / two clutch parallel system). Thanks to its hybrid system, this version of the Nissan Pathfinder offers a fuel economy of 25 mpg in the city, 28 mpg (27 mpg 4WD) on the highway and 26 mpg ion the combined cycle.
Nissan estimates that the Pathfinder Hybrid is able to offer a maximum range of 546 miles on a full 19.5-gallon fuel tank.
The Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid's price list starts at $35,110 USD MSRP for the 2WD version and at $36,710 USD MSRP for the 4WD model. The top of the range Pathfinder Platinum 4WD Hybrid is going to cost you at least $44,350 USD.
The Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid is also available with Xtronic CVT transmission, regenerative braking, LED taillights, an Advanced Drive-Assist Display, and a 4.2-inch color monitor. Nissan rates the hybrid Pathfinder with a towing capability of 3,500 pounds.
