Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced today that it has loaned a Rolls Royce Phantom to the British Chichester College for studying purposes. The Rolls Royce Phantom will be used by the Motor Vehicle and Engineering department where it will be used by apprentices studying for NVQ and City and Guilds qualifications. In this way the students will learn the skills needed for working in Rolls Royce's Goodwood-based manufacturing plant.

"It is a great pleasure to provide a Phantom to Chichester College," said Xaver Franz, Manufacturing Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. "We have a long-standing association with the college and our apprentices will benefit greatly from dedicated hands-on experience with one of our cars."

Dr Richard Parker, Principal of Chichester College, said "We are committed to ensuring that all our apprentices are fully prepared at the end of their apprenticeship to make a significant contribution to the success of their employer’s business. The very kind loan of a Phantom will be an enormous help in preparing apprentices for their careers at Rolls-Royce."
