Top Gear has been hinting at the fact that it has already driven the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport since the time of the new hypercar's unveiling. they didn’t prove it until last night's episode when Captain Slow, James May, took it for a top speed run on VW's top secret test track. Mr. May however, did not manage to get to the official Bugatti Veyron Super Sport top speed, but he did manage to get a lost faster than when he drove the standard Veyron. We'll not actually going to tell how fast did he went in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, so you'll have to watch the video after the jump.
The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport top speed is officially rated at 431,072 km/h (268 mph). This figure is given by the TUV and Guinness.
The car actually hit 434,211 km/h. However, the model you'll be able to buy will be limited to 415 km/h.
