Chevrolet revealed today the estate version of their popular Cruze model. General Motors will debut the Chevrolet Cruze station wagon at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and it will put it on sale soon after. The Chevrolet Cruze estate measures 4,675 mm in length, which is 165 mm more than the hatchback and 78 mm more then the sedan. This helps increase the cargo capacity of the Cruze wagon to 500 liters (up to 1,500 liters when the rear seats are folded). The Chevy Cruze estate will be available with a choice between three petrol engines (1.6L, 1.8L and 1.4L turbo) and two diesel ones (1.7L and 2.0L). The 1.4L gasoline, 1.7L diesel and 2.0L diesel versions of the Cruze wagon come with start-stop technology as standard, which should improve their fuel economy.

The Cruze Estate will come equipped with Chevy's MyLink onboard infotainment system, keyless entry, button start, a 7-inch high-resolution color touch-screen, and Smartphone connectivity.

Chevrolet Cruze Estate's price list will be announced at a later date, together with its full specifications, and equipment list.
