Various sources have reported today that the Covini C6W - the 6-wheels, two seats supercar in the image, will enter production by 2009. Designed by Ferruccio Covini, the Covini C6W (short for 6 wheels) has been premiered at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show and according to its designer, has been under development for the last 30 years.
The Covini C6W is powered by a 4.2 liter V8 engine that outputs 440 PS (325KW) at 6400 rpm and around 470 Nm of torque at 2700 rpm. The Covini C6W is rear-wheel-drive and features a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The Covini C6W weighs 1150Kg and is expected to have a top speed of 300 km/h (185mph).
