Saleen announced yesterday that it considers selling its global auto operations. Saleen Automotive stated that it has retained an investment banking advisor the explore this possibility. Saleen employed William Blair & Company, L.L.C. to give independent advice to the management and board of directors.
Saleen also announced that the board has set a tentative timetable to receive preliminary indications of interest from interested companies over the next two months. The company is planning to finalize a transaction in early 2009.
