Saleen, a North American aftermarket company that specializes in modifying muscle cars, announced recently that they're working on a supped up version of the electric Tesla Model S. The Saleen Tesla Model S is going to come with a new body kit, that includes a more aggressive looking front bumper, side skirts, a modified rear apron with an integrated diffuser and a boot lid spoiler. Saleen's Tesla Model S will also be fitted with a more potent carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes, new wheels and a modified suspension system. The Saleen Tesla Model S is going to have a new interior too. It's going to feature a new leather / Alcantara upholstery, and various styling trim parts. So far Saleen did not mention anything about increasing the performance of the Tesla Model S.
The standard version of the Tesla Model S develops 416 hp and it's able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 130 mph.
