This new Tesla Model S video released by the manufacturer shows the Alpha testing vehicle in action. Tesla says it has used two testing phases for the Tesla Model S, the Alpha, which began in 2010, and Beta. (Are they building cars or computer software?). The company says the Tesla Model S Alpha will be tested extensively in the following months. Each one of the new prototypes they build will evolve and improve the car's dynamics.
The Tesla Model S is a four-door sedan powered by a electric motor that offers a range of up to 300 miles. In terms of performance, the Tesla Model S needs 3.9 seconds to hit 60 mph and has a top speed of 130 mph. The price of the Tesla Model S will start at around 49,900 USD.
