Rinspeed revealed today the XchangE autonomous concept car, which is based on the Tesla Model S. Rinspeed's autonomous XchangE concept is going to have its world debut this March at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Rinspeed XchangE comes with luxury airliner-style seats that come with various adjustment, tilting and swiveling options offering more than twenty possible configurations. Rinspeed's new autonomous electric sedan is equipped with a TRW steering wheel with hands-on recognition, drive-mode-manager display in the rim and transparent multifunction keys with ambiance lighting. The steering wheels can be parked in the middle of the dashboard and it features "steer-by-wire" technology.

Rinspeed also equips the XchangE autonomous car with a Harman infotainment system that's based on HTML5, four screens, a 1.2-meter-wide display strip, and a 32-inch 4K monitor in the rear.

Rinspeed's XchangE comes with an integrated LTE module for communications, an intelligent access control system that uses RFID technology to identify the authorized driver, a Plexiglas roof, and an "EndLighten" headliner with 358 individually controlled LEDs. There's also an expensive and complicated watch with PatraviTravelTec technology developed by Carl F. Bucherer. The Rinspeed XchangE Autonomous Concept sits on 20-inch Borbet wheels.
