The specifications of the final edition Mitsubishi Lancer Evo have surfaced the web recently. As you are probably e3xpecting, the last Evo is going to be based on its tenth generation. Mitsubishi plans to end the production of the Evo X, which sadly, is not going to have a successor. This last Evo will end a legend. According to various sources, the last Evo is going to be based on the GSR version of the model. This means it's going to be equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine will develop around 440 hp and just under 560 Nm of torque. This is 145 hp and 200 Nm of torque more than the standard version of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo GSR.
Mitsubishi is already selling on the British market the FQ440 version of the Evo X, which has the same horsepower and output.
Apparently, Mitsubishi plans to build just 2,000 units of this final Evo. Its price has not been disclosed yet.
