GWA Tuning, a North American firm, has revealed the images of the Ciento Once, a revival of a famous Mercedes Gullwing prototype from 1970s. The original vehicle had a Wankel diesel engine and was built in only a few units. The GWA Tuning Ciento Once is a modern take on the same vehicle.

The GWA Tuning Ciento Once has a tubular space frame chassis and is powered by a Mercedes V12 engine mounted in the middle. The GWA Tuning Ciento Once develops 408 hp and is equipped with a 6-speed Cima H type transaxle transmission. The GWA Tuning Ciento Once is also equipped with a special tuned exhaust system, a coil-over suspension system, and a braking system taken of a Mercedes S55.

The GWA Tuning Ciento Once has an handmade aluminum body, an electric-operated rear adjustable wing, and aerodynamically functional rear diffuser and front spoiler. The GWA Tuning Ciento Once weighs 1,400 kg, which coupled with the 400+ hp, should offer plenty of performance.

The interior of the GWA Tuning Ciento Once offers carbon fiber seats, brushed aluminum pedals and illuminated door sills. the car has the same wheel-tire setup as the Mercedes SLS AMG (19x9 wheels with 265/35/19 tires at the front and 20x11 wheels with 295/30/20 tires at the rear.)



The GWA Tuning Ciento Once price has not been announced yet, as the car is still in a prototype phase.
