A new 2012 Mercedes SL spy video surfaced the web recently, showing the next generation model during testing on the Nurburgring circuit in Germany. Unfortunately, the 2012 Mercedes SL caught on camera is still wearing heavy camouflage. What they can't hide is the sound of the engine and the exhaust. The 2012 Mercedes SL will be made available with a range of engines, including 3.5-litre V6 with 306 hp in the SL350, and a 4.7-litre V8 developing 435 hp. Daimler will also offer the 2012 Mercedes SL63 AMG which will hide under its hood the company's new 5.5-liter engine with an output of around 570 hp.
The 2012 Mercedes SL will be packed with Merc's latest technology, including Start/Stop,
a fuel injection system and the LED daytime running lights which everybody loves lately.
