After yesterday's Mercedes SL aftermarket program developed by Piecha, it's time for Prior Design to show what they're capable of. Their version of the SL, called the R230 Black Edition, comes with various visual upgrades, but sadly, no increased performance. The Prior Mercedes SL features an "extremely" wide body kit, including new front and rear bumpers, front mudguards, a rear diffuser, a rear spoiler, new side skirts, front flaps and wider wheel arches. For an even more distinctive look, Prior fitted their Mercedes SL with a new hood with large air vents and under-body lighting.
Prior's SL Merc also features a new exhaust system, with two somewhat rectangular double exhaust pipes, which we're sure make a nice
soundtrack. To top it off, Prior Design shoed the SL with immense 9.5x20 inch wheels and 275/30R20 tires at the front and 12x20 inch rims with 325/30R20 tires at the rear. The Prior SL sits closer to the ground, thanks to electronic lowering module.
