Vilner presented recently a new customized Mercedes SL, showing yet again their talent in creating the most exquisite car interiors. Vilner says that their new Mercedes SL is one of the most ambitious projects they have ever worked on. They used no less than five different materials to rebuild the SL's interior. Apparently, they also used several exotic materials and exotic leather. It seems that Vilner left the original wood trim parts of the Mercedes SL in place. However, for the upholstery they used Nappa leather with an antique effect, crocodile leather and brown Alcantara. They used contrast stitching. Vilner's SL comes with a bespoke sport steering wheel. The headliner of the Mercedes SL, as well as other plastic parts, have been wrapped in Alcantara.
The original wood parts and other plastic parts have been hand-painted to resemble old steel. The Vilner Mercedes SL is equipped with DLS speakers and amplifiers. The car also received additional sound insulation. Vilner did not disclose the price of their new modifications for the Mercedes SL.
