OFFICIAL: Carlsson presented the Royale special edition of the C25 Super GT car at the Geneva auto show. The special edition Carlsson C25 Royale has various upgrades in comparison to the regular C25. For instance, it has lost 180 kg, it has received a carbon fiber roof which shifts the car's center of gravity lower, and it has received various styling mods. The Carlsson C25 Royale started in life as a Mercedes SL65 AMG, after which it went through extensive modifications, from its engine, to the chassis and to interior comforts.
The V12 biturbo engine of the Carlsson C25 Royale has been juiced up to 753 hp (554 kW) and 1,320 Nm of torque. This translates into a 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of just
3.7 seconds. The top speed is rated at 352 km/h.
In comparison to the SL65, the Carlsson C25 Royale features a lower and stiffer suspension system, bigger brakes and new aerodynamics meant to make it stick to the ground at high speeds.
Carlsson says the C25 Royale will be one of the most exclusive vehicles in the world, with only one of them sold per country. They also mention six of them have already been sold.
The price you'll have to pay for one of them starts at 429,000 Euro.
