StudioTorino Mercedes SL Shooting Brake

StudioTorino, which is an Italian design house, revealed this year a Shooting Brake version of the Mercedes SL. A Shooting Brake is basically a station wagon version of a coupe. Called the Coupetorino 2013, the StudioTorino Mercedes SL Shooting Brake is just a design study and it hasn't been built at a full scale yet. Even so, the result looks absolutely incredible. StudioTorino's Shooting Brake SL took six students and a Mercedes official 9 months to complete. According to its developers, their SL Class Shooting Brake is more than just a design study. When developing it, they took into account the production costs and other such aspects of producing a vehicle. Back in 2008, StudioTorino presented their first Shooting Brake version of the Mercedes SL.

Let's hope that the second time it will get built at a full scale.

The StudioTorino Mercedes SL Shooting Brake is the work of students Bruno Arena, Michele Bavaro, Stefano Manini, Dario Pellegrino, Riccardo Luigi Cascone, Cristiano Zanot and of Steffen Koehl from Mercedes.
