A GloRyder Wheel Light is a Chromed Aluminum device that fits into the center of a car wheel. It Replaces the existing center cap, and illuminates the entire face of the wheel. Now you can display your wheels day and night!
GloRyder Wheel Lights operate automatically. They are photosensitive (turn off in sunlight), and motion activated by the movement of your wheels. Once your vehicle comes to a stop a timer keeps the wheels lit for a while then shuts them off.
They are powered by long lasting AA batteries. No complicated wiring to worry about!
There are two light settings, Sho for continuous on and Glo for motion activation.
This lifetime of the batteries depends upon usage and the colors you choose, as well as the battery's you are using. Lighter colors such as reds, yellows, orange, and green, tend to remain visible longer than whites, blues, purple, aqua, and pink. Expect anywhere from two to three months operating time with typical AA alkaline battery's. Lithium AA battery's last up to 5 times longer than Alkaline battery's.
The GloRyder will fit any wheel with a center bore between 1.90 and 2.50. Adaptors are available
for larger sizes through GloRyder Customs Division.
Wheels that will not work are those with hidden lug nuts, or a hub that protrudes through the center bore of the wheel.
GloRyder Wheel Light come in these finishes: Chrome Plated finish, or High Polished Aluminum. Gold or powder coat available through GloRyder Customs Division.
