IKmedia Press Release:

Advanced course Tuning – IKmedia media event at the Hockenheimring

Total power: 4,978 HP. Accumulated top speed: 3,211 km/h. Driving fun? Priceless! After the major success on the Lausitzring 2006, IKmedia melted up the 2.6 kilometre-long Kleiner Kurs at the Hockenheimring on 14th June 2007.

Numerous well-known German and international journalists, print media, radio and TV made sure that the test-car engines never stood still at the Tuning Days despite ample choice. The temptation was also too much. The client list of the PR and advertising agency from Schwabach

reads like a "who’s who" of car customizers: whether AC Schnitzer, Abt Sportsline, Lorinser Sportservice, Giacuzzo, AEZ, Dotz, Yokohama or Eibach – these firms stand for extraordinary performance. The assortment of vehicles, which ranged from the performanceenhanced Aston Martin to an only slightly domesticated offshoot of the world's fastest road-registered BMW, confirmed this. Model maker Tamiya showed that one horse-power can definitely also be lots of fun, as visitors were able to steer remote-control buggies over ramps or fly an indoor helicopter.

Incidentally, the right soundtrack for the event was not only provided by the souped-up engines of the represented bolides, but also by the Alpine Electronics Company, which turned the pit into a veritable concert hall. The sunny afternoon weather did the rest. In the evening the drivers came up against substantial amounts of water - intentionally, of course, as attendees traded in the Hockenheimring for the Rhine and the cars for a streamlined excursion boat in order to finish off the IKmedia Tuning Day in style.
