Yesterday, Jaguar announced that the new Jaguar XFR is the fastest model they have ever built, with a speed record of more than 360 km/h. Today the company has released a promotional Jaguar XFR speed record video shot on the Bonneville Salt Flats where the test took place. The prototype Jaguar XFR used for the speed record was not standard however. The car has a re-programmed ECU and modified air intake, exhaust system and supercharger. The engine and the gearbox are standard.
