Kroymans Ferrari collection sold

Hamann Classic Cars announced today that the Kroymans Ferrari collection has been sold and represent the probably the most important sale of classic Ferrari models of the last twenty years. The most important car of the Kroymans Ferrari collection is a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO which was sold for an undisclosed sum. Other important Ferrari car included in this collection are the Enzo 2002 Formula 1 winner of the US Grand Prix, 250 Europa GT, 375 America, 250 Testarossa and others.

Until recently, Kroymans was the exclusive Ferrari Distributor in Holland. This $3 billion automobile empire, founded in 1902 by the great grandfather of current Chairman Frits Kroymans, ended in early 2009. Kroymans filed for bankruptcy then.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the salvation of this very important collection of vintage Ferraris,” said Thomas Hamann, Owner of Hamann Classic Cars and Chairman of the New York City Concours d’Elegance, who brokered the deal between the European banks and Tom Price, a prominent classic car collector from Northern California.
