Lamborghini released today the first teaser image of the Gallardo's successor, which could be called the Cabrera. The Italian carmaker did not release any details regarding the Cabrera yet. However, we do know that it is going to be powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V12 engine. Early rumors say that the Lambo Cabrera will develop as much as 600 hp, which are going to be sent to the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. As you're probably expecting, the Lamborghini Cabrera will be equipped with an all-wheel-drive system. Early indications say that the Cabrera will be able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in around 3.2 seconds and that it is going to have a top speed of more than 300 km/h. Apparently, the Cabrera is going to weigh less than 1,500 kg.
We'll have more details about the Cabrera as soon as Lamborghini makes them available. The fact that they have already released a teaser image of the Gallardo's successor means that its premiere is getting closer.
