Lamborghini continues the tradition of building a police car that started with the Gallardo. Since the Huracan is Gallardo’s successor, it had to come as a police car too. The Lamborghini Huracan Polizia, as its official name is, was donated to the Italian State Police. The Gallardo was part of the Italian police from 2004 to 2008. It's time for the Huracan to assume its role. The Lamborghini Huracan Police is powered by the 5.2-liter V10 engine that develops 610 hp. This engine is able to propel the Lambo Huracan up to a top speed of 202 mph. So, you should think twice before speeding on Italy's highways. The Lamborghini Huracan Police will enter service towards the end of this year. Its main purpose is going to be accident and crime prevention.
The previous Gallardo Police was also used for transporting donor organs, so the Huracan could be used for this purpose too.
