Lamborghini Huracan Revealed

 »  »  »

Apparently, Lamborghini chose to reveal the Gallardo's successor in a German magazine. Well, it's not going to be called the Cabrera. Its name is going to be "Huracan". As you can imagine, there are not an awful lot of details going around, but here it is. The Lamborghini Huracan is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that develops 610 hp at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. With a weight of just over 1,400 kg, the Huracan says it can do nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds, and zero to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.9 seconds. Our sources say that the Lamborghini Huracan will be able to offer a fuel consumption of 12.5 liters per 100 km. Yes, the Huracan is all-wheel-drive and it comes with a sequential dual-clutch transmission. The body and chassis are made of carbon and aluminum, obviously.

The Lamborghini Huracan will offer several driving modes, ranging from "civilized" to "track" mode (Strada, Sport, and Corsa), carbon-ceramic brakes, and electromagnetic dampers.

For the interior of the Huracan, Lamborghini chose a 12.3-inch TFT display, bucket seats, leather and basically all you would expect from the "latest Lambo". All the lights, front and rear, are LEDs.

We'll get more details as soon as Lamborghini decides to make them public. Price and availability will come later.
