Land Rover Defender by Paul Smith

Fashion designer Sir Paul Smith revealed recently this one-off Land Rover Defender in collaboration with the carmaker's Special Vehicle Operations design team. Paul Smith's Defender has no less than 27 different exterior colors. The rugged 4x4 SUV also features satin accents on the mirrors, door handles and wheels. Paul Smith also says that there's a hand-painted bee on the roof too. Since it can be seen in these images, we'll take his word for it. The inspiration for this special Land Rover came from the British countryside and the colors of the classic Defenders used by the Armed Forces. For the interior, Smith chose a leather and fabric combination aimed at offering a feeling of luxury.

Apparently, the same fabric is being used by Maharam, the American upholstery company. Paul Smith's Land Rover Defender has some other distinctive features too. These include a leather-wrapped dashboard, new gauges, and others.
