The British journalists from Autocar have released today one of the first Land Rover Freelander 2 review videos around. The version of the 2011 Land Rover Freelander 2 reviewed in this clip is the 2.2 eD4 HSE powered by the 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine developing 148 bhp at 4000 rpm and 309 lb-ft at 1750 rpm. The engine of the particular Land Rover Freelander 2 unit being used for the review has been coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. With this powertrain, the Land Rover Freelander 2 is able to get from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 11.7 seconds and up to a top speed of 112 mph.
The Land Rover Freelander 2 weighs 1785 kg so it's a pretty heavy vehicle. However, it still manages to offer up to a 47.1 mpg combined fuel
consumption with a 158 g/km CO2 emissions level.
