Lotus revealed today the Evora 400 Hethel Edition to mark the factory's 50th anniversary. Yes, 50 years have passed since founder Colin Chapman moved Lotus to the purpose-built facility in Hethel, Norfolk. The Lotus Evora 400 Hethel Edition is going to be available in three iconic colors: Essex Blue, Motorsport Black, and Racing Green. For the interior of the Evora 400 Hethel you'll be able to choose between red or black leather. You'll also be able to get an Alcantara interior. The Evora 400 Hethel sits on silver forged aluminum wheels with contrasting brake calipers. Apart from celebrating this milestone in the company's history, the Evora 400 Hethel is also meant to demonstrate how customers can personalize their cars through the Lotus Exclusive program.

The Lotus Evora 400 Hethel Edition is powered by a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine that puts out 400 hp at 7000 rpm (406 PS) (298 kW) and 302 lb-ft (410 Nm) of torque at 3500 rpm. Thanks to an aluminum chassis and a weight of just 1,395 kg, the Lotus Evora 400 Hethel is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds. Depending on the gearbox, the Evora 400 Hethel can reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h) (manual) or 174 mph (280 km/h) (automatic).

The Lotus Evora 400 Hethel Edition comes with a composite body, a three-element rear wing, and a rear diffuser. Its equipment list includes AP Racing 370 mm brake discs, a limited slip diff, air-conditioning and an infotainment system with satellite navigation.

The Lotus Evora 400 Hethel Edition's price, starts at £75,500 GBP in the UK, at 100,500 EUR in Germany, at 101,350 EUR in France and at 105,400 EUR in Italy.
