The Lotus Evora 400 is going to have its world debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Shoe next month. Lotus says that the new Evora 400 is the most powerful and fastest production model they have ever built. Its power comes from a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine that develops 400 hp and 410 at 7,000rpm and 302 lb-ft (410 Nm) of torque between 3,500 rpm and 6,500 rpm. This is 65 hp more than the Evora S. With this powertrain, The Evora 400 is able to rocket from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds. It needs just 4.1 seconds to get from zero to 60 mph. According to the official specs, the top speed of the Lotus Evora 400 can reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

Lotus says that the Evora 400 weighs (unladen) 1,415 kg (3,119 lbs; auto: 1,419 kg, 3,128 lbs), which is 22 kg, or 48 lbs (automatic option: 23 kg / 50lbs) lighter than the current Evora model. The Evora 400 comes with a revised suspension system, a limited slip diff on the 6-speed manual transmission version.

The Lotus Evora 400 comes with a revised exterior and interior design, higher quality materials, a forged magnesium steering wheel and many other improvements.
