The UK based Team Lotus has also unveiled its 2011 F1 race car, the Lotus T128. The Lotus T128 is powered by a V8 RS27-2011 engine from Renault and is built on a caron fabier chassis with a carbon fiber body. Actually, they made almost the entire Lotus T128 out of carob, inclduing its front and rear suspension.

The Lotus T128 has a Red Bull Technologies gearbox, Penske & Multimatic dampers, an AP racing clutch and calipers, and an ATL fuel cell.

The Lotus T128 has an overall length of 5 meters and a wheelsbase of more than 3000 mm, with a total height of just 950 mm.

In the 2011 Formula 1 season, the Lotus T128 will be dirven by Heikki Kovalainen and Jarno Trulli.
