Lotus unveiled today at the Geneva auto show a special edition of the Evora GTE called the F1 Team. The Lotus F1 Team Evora GTE was introduced by none other than Formula 1 superstar Kimi Raikkonen. The special Evora GTE was built to mark Kimi's return to Lotus F1 Team, for which he will compete in this year's season of championship. The Evora GTE F1 Team features a carbon body, and a carbon-fiber interior with copper inlays. For an extra touch of high-performance style, Lotus left the body of the car unpainted. The exposed carbon fiber works perfectly with the gold-piped black leather bucket seats of the car.

The Lotus Evora GTE is powered by a 3.5 V6 engine, which outputs 444 hp.

The extra horsepower of the Evora GTE, coupled with the 100kg lower weight, makes it one serious machine. In fact, it’s so serious that it hasn't been homologated by the EU yet. However, Lotus hopes this will happen by May this year.
