Lotus just released a teaser video for the Evora GTE road car which the company plans the premiere at this year's Frankfurt auto show. Apart from the high performance Evora GTE road car, Lotus will also premiere at the 2011 IAA three new cars and two new options. At last year's Paris auto show, Lotus took the world by storm and revealed no less than six new models. It looks like this year at Frankfurt, they're looking to steal the show again.
So far, we have details about the Evora GTE road car only. It will be powered by an engine developed in the racing world, with an output of 420, and it will be equipped with a sequential AMT transmission. The Lotus Evora GTE road car will have new aerodynamics, consisting of a new
rear wing, a new front spoiler with integrated LED daytime running lights and large vents, wider wheel arches and side skirts.
