Prodrive, the company that will power the new MINI Countryman WRC, has released a new teaser image of the rally challenger. Prodrive has announced that the MINI Countryman WRC has finished testing on its proving grounds Warwickshire. The MINI Countryman WRC, seen in this new image covered in a rather psychedelic camo wrap, has been tested mostly on tarmac. However, engineers also took it for a few runs on gravel.

The next step in the development of the MINI Countryman WRC World Rally Car is gravel testing in Portugal. The racer will be taken there next week.

The design of the car you see in this picture is

not the final MINI Countryman WRC. The final aerodynamics of the rally car are still under development.

The MINI Countryman WRC will be powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine.
