The McLaren 570S Coupe is going to have its world debut today at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. Its price and availability have not been announced yet, but the British carmaker has disclosed its full specifications and its equipment list. The McLaren 570S is powered by the M838TE twin turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that develops 570PS (562 bhp) at 7,400 rpm, and 600Nm (443 lb ft) of torque at 5,000-6,500 rpm. Thanks to a weight of just 1,313 kg and a power-to-weight ratio of 434PS per ton, the McLaren 570S is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds. Its official specs also claim that the McLaren 570S can get from naught to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 9.5 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 204 mph (328 km/h).

According to McLaren, the 570S coupe features a so-called "Shrinkwrapped" design, that includes elegant flying buttresses to optimize aerodynamics and increase downforce.

The equipment list of the McLaren 570S includes a 7-speed SSG transmission, carbon ceramic brakes, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. The official specifications say that the McLaren 570S offers a fuel consumption of 25.5mpg on the EU combined cycle and a 258g/km CO2 emissions level. In the United States, the McLaren 570S is exempted from the gas guzzler tax.
