After a few years, the aftermarket specialists from Gemballa are back into the spotlight with a new powerkit and a body kit for the McLaren 650S. Gemballa's McLaren 650S continues to be powered by the 3.8-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine, however, thanks to a re-mapped ECU, their version of the supercar puts out 670 hp and 536 lb-ft of torque. This is 20 hp and 36 lb-ft of torque more than standard. Even though the power increase is not really significant, Gemballa's styling for the McLaren 650S takes it to Darth Vader levels of awesomeness. Their new body kit for the British supercar is made of carbon fiber. It includes a slightly modified front apron, new side skirts, and a modified rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. The rear exhaust pipes surrounds have also been modified.
Gemballa says their new body kit manages to reduce lift, especially on the rear axle. As a result, their version of the McLaren 650S is expected to have higher cornering speeds than the standard version of the supercar.
Gemballa's McLaren 650S is also fitted with a set of 20-inch front and 21-inch rear GForged alloy wheels. To make room for the larger wheels, Gemballa installed bespoke carbon fiber guards underneath the wheel arches.
For the interior of their McLaren 650S, Gemballa is offering a leather upholstery and other trim parts. The price of these modifications is set at 33,900 EUR.
