McLaren revealed last weekend the new 650S GT3 at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. McLaren revealed the complete specs of the 650S GT3, including its full equipment list. The GT3 version of the McLaren 650S is built on the same carbon fiber MonoCell chassis with aluminum front and rear sub frames as the road-going version. The McLaren 650S GT3 is powered by a race prepared 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo M838T engine, which is mated to a 6-speed sequential motorsport transmission pneumatically actuated via steering wheel mounted paddles. The horsepower and torque output of the 650S GT3 have not been disclosed yet. McLaren is keeping the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of the 650S GT3 and its top speed a secret at the moment.

The GT3 McLaren 650S comes with improved aerodynamic body parts, which include a front splitter, dive planes, a fully adjustable rear wing with gurney, and front and rear diffusers.

The McLaren 650S GT3's equipment list includes an ATLAS data acquisition system, a motorsport digital dash display, a modified ECU incorporating turbo boost and transmission shift control, and a composite steering wheel incorporating key driver switch controls and map settings. Here are the full specifications and details of the McLaren 650S GT3.
