The aftermarket specialists from Carlex Design, revealed recently an F1 inspired interior for the new Mercedes E Class Coupe. Carlex's new E Class Coupe comes with the same livery and color theme as the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS Formula One team. For the interior of the Mercedes E Class Coupe, Carlex chose black Nappa leather with light accents, Alcantara and carbon fiber trim parts. Most of the interior of this Mercedes E Class coupe has been restyled, including event the floor mats. There's also a modified steering wheel and a re-styled dashboard. The E Class Merc you see in these images comes with a new engine too. It is the 5.5-liter biturbo powertrain from the E63 AMG. This means the car develops 557 hp and 720 Nm of torque.

Carlex's new Mercedes Class is also fitted with a lowered suspension system, a black roof and a new set of six-spoke black alloy wheels.

Carlex did not disclose the price of the modifications for their F1-inspired Mercedes E Class coupe.
