2015 Mercedes E500 Cabrio Powerkit by Vath

The aftermarket specialists from Vath revealed today a new powerkit, as well as other upgrades, for the 2015 Mercedes E500 cabrio. Vath's new power kit for the Mercedes E500 cabriolet includes a programmed ECU, a newly developed charge-air cooling system, and a custom sport exhaust system. As a result the horsepower output of the 4.7-liter V8 engine is increased from 408 hp to 550 hp (404 kW) and 830 Nm of torque at 2,100 rpm. Vath prices their new powerkit for the convertible E500 Merc at 10,591 EUR. Unfortunately, Vath does not disclose the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of their modified Mercedes E500 cabrio, nor its top speed. Vath is offering for the new E500 a complete stainless steel exhaust with valve control and two 115x85 mm oval tailpipes, which is priced at 4,629.10 Eur.

Vath's aftermarket program for the Mercedes E500 cabrio also includes a carbon fiber rear diffuser (2,011.10 Euro), a 30-mm lowered suspension system (618.80 euro) and a set of 20-inch alloys. The tuner can also fir your E500 with upgraded brakes with 6-piston calipers and 390 mm discs (5,355 euro) and a carbon boot lid lip (1,761.20 euro).
