Mitsubishi announced a Destination and Handling charges increase for the North American market that have come in effect since June 2, 2008. Mitsubishi Motors North America states that it continues to try to keep the distribution costs as low as possible as most manufacturers are dealing with the same cost pressures.
The Destination and Handling charges increase are as follows:
- for the Lancer, Lancer Evolution, Galant, Eclipse and Eclipse Spyder from $675 to $800
- for the Outlander, Endeavor, Montero and Raider from $695 to $820
