Fifth Gear put the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer and the 2008 Mazda6 in a comparison test drive in the video after the jump. The tested 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is powered by a 2.0 turbodiesel engine and is priced at 18,849 pounds. It's also equipped with touch-screen satnav, a 30 GB hard drive and leather seats. The 2008 Mazda6 is priced at 18,770 pounds, but it doesn't have satnav or leather seats. It's also powered by a 2.0 liter diesel engine that develops 140 bhp, but it needs a second more to reach 62 mph than the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer.
