Severnvalley Motorsports, a British company, announced recently its plans to build a Nissan Qashqai-R. With inspiration from the Juke-R, Severnvalley wants to transfer all of the GT-R's drivetrain, including the engine, transmission and the all-wheel-drive system, to a Nissan Qashqai. As you can clearly see from the photos, this is still a work in progress. The Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine that's good for 550 PS. Severnvalley says that their Nissan Qashqai-R is going to have a horsepower output of 1,000 bhp! Now this is going to be a true supercar killer. The engine is not the only part Severnvalley plans to upgrade. Their Nissan Qashqai-R will be equipped with a performance KW coilover suspension system, Eibach anti-roll bars and bigger brakes.
The Juke-R is priced from 500,000 EUR. Let's hope the Nissan Qashqai-R's price tag is going to have a few less zeros at the end of it. We'll have more details about the Qashqai-R as soon as Severnvalley makes them available.
