Novitec Rosso have announced recently that they will unveil the Race 606 Ferrari California at the 2011 Geneva motor show in March. As you are probably expecting, the Novitec Rosso Race 606 Ferrari California comes with increased power and discretely updated aerodynamics for increased downforce. The Novitec Ferrari California is powered by the standard 4.3-liter V8 engine that advertises a mechanical supercharger driven by the crankshaft via a cogged V-belt offering a maximum boost pressure of 0.4 bar. The Novitec Ferrari California also comes with a water-to-air intercooler, a new intake manifold, and larger injectors.

The result of adding all these upgrades is that the Novitec Ferrari California develops

606 hp / 446 kW at 7,900 rpm and 603 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Although impressive, we hope these are usable horsepowers. We could have used a dyno graph on this one. The aftermarket specialists rates the top speed of the Novitec Ferrari California at 325 km/h and the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time at 3.8 seconds.

The Novitec Ferrari California performance program also includes a flap-controlled, stainless-steel, NOVITEC ROSSO high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts, and four black-coated

tailpipes. The exhaust note of the Novitec Ferrari California can be controlled via the Manetino on the steering wheel.

The Novitec Ferrari California aerodynamics package includes various carbon fiber parts, that have been developed in the wind tunnel for reduced lift on the front and rear axles. The Novitec Ferrari California body kit includes front and rear spoilers, a rear diffuser, rocker panel blades, side air outlets and mirror covers made from matte clear-coated carbon-fiber.

The Novitec Ferrari California sits on 9Jx21

front and 11.5Jx22 rear light alloy wheels and 255/30 ZR 21 and 315/25 ZR 22 Pirelli PZero tires.
