General motors also released today three Opel Ampera videos that show the new concept in static and dynamic scenes and present a detailed view of its interior. The Opel Ampera electric vehicle will hit the European market in 2011 and will also be sold in a right-hand drive version under the Vauxhall brand. Powered by a lithium-ion battery and a generator, the Opel Ampera offers a range of 500 km and can be re-charged from a household outlet. No information on the Opel Ampera price has been released yet.
