| Porsche BorgWarner AWD tech | |
| BorgWarner and Porsche teamed up to develop a new AWD clutch and control system. This new AWD system is intended to equip several Porsche sports cars. Earlier Borg Warner supplied the Variable Turbine Geometry ( VTG ) blowers for the Porsche 911 Turbo. This new BorgWarner AWD coupling system will be the first production unit of its type to feature an active Gerotor pump plus efficient cooling systems and control algorithms.
