Skoda announced today the Yeti Ice special edition, which features a faux (fake) fur exterior. Apparently, Skoda's engineers developed the fur exterior while working in the Himalayas. Inventor Dr. Yu Ciddingme says that the new fur exterior finish enables the test drivers to use the Yeti Ice with the heater on off while in the Arctic Circle. The Skoda Yeti Ice's codename during testing was 010414. Skoda is going to sell the Yeti Ice with various individualization options, such as side-partings and fur extensions. The Yeti Ice will be sold with a complementary lifetime supply of shampoo and conditioner, as well as a comb and a brush kit. Head of Special Developments, Prof Lukat Thedate said: "Everybody loves the new furry finish. People like to give it a hug and a tickle under the bumper."
The Skoda Yeti Ice's price is set at £16,600. The new model goes on sale today, April Fool's Day.
