Skoda VisionC Revealed

Skoda revealed today the new VisionC, which previews the carmaker future five-door coupe. The Skoda VisionC concept is going to have its world debut next week at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and it will probably be sold as the Octavia Coupe. The Skoda VisionC is powered by a 1.4 TSI turbocharged engine that runs on both CNG and petrol, which produces 81 kW. Skoda says that when equipped with this engine, the VisionC consumes 3.4 kg or 5.1 m3 CNG per kilometer and it emits 91 g/km of CO2. The VisionC is just a design study at the moment, so Skoda did not release an awful lot of technical details about it, nor specifications. However, they do mention that the VisionC is going to offer plenty of space and functionality.

Skoda says that the production version of the VisionC will offer plenty of space for four people and their luggage. This means that the VisionC has just two seats in the back. This in turn suggests that the VisionC is based on the first generation of the Volkswagen Passat CC.

We'll have more details about the Skoda VisionC as soon as its manufacturer makes them available.
