Skoda revealed today the updated 2014 Superb facelift, which is expected to go on sale across Europe in June 2013. In terms of exterior design, the 2014 Skoda Superb facelift comes with an updated front end. Its manufacturer says that it has completely re-designed up to the A-pillar. Skoda says that the grille, the logo, the headlights, the fog lights, the bumpers, the front wings and the bonnet of the facelifted Superb (2014) are new. The 2014 Superb is offering for the first time bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED DRLs. The rear of both versions of the 2014 Superb, the hatch and the estate, also shows updated styling elements. For the interior of the facelifted superb, Skoda is offering new fabrics and new color combinations.
Skoda is going to sell the 2014 Superb facelift with a range of engines, including an entry level 1.4 TSI 125PS petrol unit. There is also a 2.0 TDI 140PS diesel engine with a manual gearbox and a 4x4 system. The 2014 Superb 2.0 TDI 170PS 4x4 is now available with a six-speed DSG dual clutch transmission. Skoda improved the efficiency of the 2014 Superb GreenLine, which now promises a 67.3 mpg combined fuel economy and a 109 g/km CO2 emissions level. The 2014 Superb Estate and sedan come with Start–stop and kinetic energy recuperation technology.
If you're looking for luggage space, the 2014 Superb offers one of the most generous one in this segment. The facelifted Superb Estate has 633 litres of boot space (1,865 litres with the rear seats folded down), while the estate has 595 litres (1,700 liters).
