Currently, Skoda enjoys an immense success in Europe. We're wondering what took them so much to make the obvious step towards an SUV. Well, it's going to be a small SUV, which is based on the VW Tiguan. Yes, all Skodas are basically Volkswagens... with a different badge that is. They're playing it safe, since they didn't go with the Touareg. Anyhow, for all you Skoda fans out there, there's going to be an SUV too, soon. Skoda's Tiguan will be sold with a choice between a FWD and an AWD system (which is nice). The power will come from various TDI turbodiesel engines, starting from the 1.6-liter. However, what caught our attention is the fact that Skoda's new SUV is going to be offered with a hybrid powertrain too. Now that seems like the perfect economic version, or not.
