Subaru has launched last week on its home market the closest thing to a Subaru Legacy STI - the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT tS, built in collaboration with STI. The Subaru Legacy 2.5GT tS is available in both sedan and wagon body styles and is powered by a 2.5-liter boxer engine good for 265 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The Subaru Legacy 2.5GT tS comes with a new exterior aerodynamics package which includes front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a rear spoiler.
The Subaru Legacy 2.5GT tS is also fitted with a new sport exhaust system and a stiffer suspension system. The car also has new rims and offers a choice between a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The interior of the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT tS features new STI clocks with a 260 km speedometer, Alcantara upholstery, a new gear lever and various STI logos.
The Subaru Legacy 2.5GT tS price for Japan starts at 4,029,900 YEN.
