TRD, or Toyota Racing Development, the Japanese car manufacturer's in-house tuner, launched recently a new program featuring Club Sport parts for the Lexus IS-F. The TRD Lexus IS-F does not offer a power upgrade, but it does include aerodynamic enhancements, and handling upgrades. TRD's new body kit for the Lexus IS-F was developed in the wind tunnel and it includes a front skirt, a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser, a huge rear wing and a new bonnet with air vents. The TRD Lexus IS-F comes with a bright orange exterior finish and black rims.
Various parts of the IS-f, which require high rigidity and low weight, are now built by TRD using carbon fiber, titanium and magnesium. The dashboard and the rear wing of the TRD IF-F are made from carbon.
For improved handling, TRD's IS-F features a new suspension system, with adjustable dampers and a stabilizer bar. The price of the TRD Lexus IS-F has not been announced yet.
