| Toyota Kluger ParkAssist | |
| Toyota equipped the Kluger with its ParkAssist systems. The Toyota Kluger ParkAssist system has two kinds of sensors: Parking Sensors and Reverse Parking Sensors. The Toyota Kluger ParkAssist system works only at vehicle parking speed when activated by the driver. The sensors automatically deactivate at speeds over approximately 10 km/h, but will automatically resume when under 10 km/h again.

ParkAssist Clearance Parking Sensors are tested and designed for compatibility with Toyota Genuine's Alloy Nudge Bar for additional front-of-vehicle protection. |

| Also available in the range of Genuine Accessories for new Kluger is a set of four ParkAssist Reverse Parking Sensors which are mounted across the rear bumper and help drivers to be more aware of obstacles out of their range of vision when reversing.
The Rear Parking Sensors are designed to work in conjunction with Kluger's Rear Camera which is standard across the new range, although they can operate totally independent of the camera system. |

| When rear ParkAssist is turned on, it automatically links to the camera, providing drivers with a visual picture of what is behind them.
"Combining ParkAssist with Kluger's standard reverse camera can ease some of the stress associated with parking and reversing, as the technologies work in parallel to help drivers avoid hitting objects while they concentrate on tricky maneouvres," says Matthew Callachor, division manager of Toyota's Customer Service Division. "Of course, no accessory can replace safe driving techniques and the need to pay attention to the road and surrounds. |

| "ParkAssist is designed to help increase driver awareness of what is around the vehicle when attempting to park and reverse.
"ParkAssist can save drivers money because potentially less front- and rear-end collisions may occur, resulting in reduced repair costs and at the same time preserving the resale value of the vehicle," he said. When the front and rear sensors identify that an obstacle is too close to the vehicle, an alert beeping tone will sound inside the vehicle. As the vehicle moves closer to the obstacle, the alert tone beeps at an increasingly faster rate, becoming a constant alert tone when the vehicle is in danger of making contact. Reverse ParkAssist is compatible with Toyota Genuine's Towbar. ParkAssist works in the dark and optimal performance is maintained in all lighting conditions. Note: All Toyota Genuine Accessories purchased and fitted to a Toyota are warranted for the remainder of the New Vehicle Warranty or 12 months, whichever is greater. Toyota Genuine Accessories purchased from an authorised Toyota Dealer over the counter are warranted from the date of purchase for one year (unlimited kilometres). Conditions apply.
