Toyota announced this week they have built a one-ff Hilux that develops 455 hp at 6,000 rpm. his special Hilux was built by Toyota South Africa to mark the one millionth pick truck sold. The power of this Toyota Hilux comes from the same 5.0-liter V8 engine as the one in the high-performance Lexus IS F. The pick-up truck has almost the same specifications as the race Hilux. This means it has a Dakar-spec inlet manifold, a Pectel Cosworth engine management system, a full tubular exhaust, and a D-4D transmission with a twin-plate AP racing clutch. The 455 hp Hilux also comes equipped with modified front and rear differentials, and AWD system, bigger brakes, 180inch alloys, a 50 mm lowered ride height and stiffer springs.
The 455 hp Toyota Hilux is priced at more than 72,000 USD.
